Write. Writing is a way to express you: your ideas, opinions
and knowledge. And you may do a lot of it in college and on the job.
ü Write a little every day. Try keeping a daily journal
to make a habit of writing.
ü Read outside class to increase your vocabulary and
understanding of grammar.
ü Break up long writing sessions into shorter periods
with regular breaks.
ü Let your writing sit for a while and then come back to
it.
ü Read your writing out loud or have someone read it to
you.
ü Edit someone
else’s writing and let that person edit yours.
ü Learn to write and write to learn.
ü Write creatively. Writing on your personal web blog to
journalize your writing day and after day.
ü Write your life history.
ü Write life’s goals in a journal review these goals often;
revise your goals as needed. But, write them down.
ü “Writing makes an exact man; therefore, he that write
it little hath need of a great memory” (Anon)
ü Write to remember.
